My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. The location was absolutely stunning with breathtaking views, but I had some serious issues with the room cleanliness and comfort. The service was average, but they did try their best to accommodate us. The dining experience left a bit to be desired, and while the facilities were decent, they could definitely use some updates.

Rooms

Unfortunately, the rooms felt outdated and had a strong clinic-like smell. I also experienced issues like a leak and even bed bug bites, which made my stay quite uncomfortable.
Service
6.0
The service was okay, with the staff making an effort to keep us in the same rooms. However, it felt like they were putting in minimal effort overall.
Location

The location was truly beautiful, perched above the city with spectacular views, but it might be a bit tricky for those who aren't comfortable with narrow, steep roads.
Dining

Dining was a tad disappointing. While they had a few nice options like fresh pizza, the variety was lacking, and the quality could have been better.
Facilities

5.8/10

The hotel is pretty nice with clean and comfortable rooms, but there's room for improvement, especially with the service. The location is a bit tricky to access, which can be frustrating for those not used to narrow roads. Dining options were okay but could use a bit more variety. Overall, I had a pleasant time, but I wouldn't say it's ideal due to a couple of issues.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were generally clean and comfortable, but the thin walls made it hard to avoid noise from neighboring rooms and the corridors. I also noticed a leak during my stay, which is not what I expect from a hotel.
Service
6.0
The service could have been friendlier; I felt like I was constantly being asked if I was a guest, which got a bit annoying. The staff did try to accommodate us by keeping our rooms together, which was nice.
Location

The location was beautiful, but getting there was quite a challenge due to the narrow and steep roads. It’s also quite far from the town center, which meant we had to rely on taxis, leading to some added frustration.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience was decent; it included some local entertainment, but the à la carte options were a bit limited. It was nice enough though, just not the best.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were okay, but there wasn't anything that really stood out as impressive or luxurious, which left me wanting a little bit more from my stay.

6.0/10

The hotel has a stunning view and was quite comfortable overall, but I found some issues with the cleanliness and service that could be improved. While the location is picturesque, getting there can be a bit challenging due to steep and narrow roads. It definitely offers a unique experience, though. Overall, it’s a mixed bag but still has its merits.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms had a lot of moths and jenny long legs in it, which was off-putting. There also weren’t any screens on the sliding doors, so it felt a bit exposed. However, the view from the room was absolutely wonderful.
Service
5.0
The service needs improvement as the staff constantly asked me if I was a guest at the hotel along with my room number, which felt a bit excessive. At times, it felt like they were doing us a favor rather than providing service. However, they did make every effort to keep us in the same rooms so we could enjoy our time in Taxco.
Location
7.0
The location is truly beautiful, positioned in a stunning area, but it might not be convenient for those fearful of driving in Mexico due to the narrow and very steep streets. Additionally, it's farther from town, and I had to pay for taxis since the place isn't close to restaurants.
Dining
6.0
Dining had its ups and downs; the menu was well assorted but lacked some quality, particularly in the a la carte options. It could definitely benefit from having more quality food options available.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were decent, but I found that some of the equipment was quite old and broken, which detracted from the experience.

The hotel has a stunning location offering beautiful views of Taxco de Alarcón, but getting there can be a challenge for those not comfortable driving on steep, narrow roads. The rooms, unfortunately, need some serious updating, and the noise from neighboring rooms was a bit disruptive. Service could use improvement, as I encountered issues with the pool and food options. Overall, the experience had its highs and lows.

The facilities need improvement, especially the pool area, which was reported as closed during my stay. Overall, this was a letdown.

The hotel offers breathtaking views and is situated atop a hill, providing a beautiful backdrop. While the service staff made an effort to keep us in the same rooms, there were moments when they seemed a bit unwelcoming. The rooms, while comfortable, are in need of some updates, especially the air conditioning and balcony tiles. Overall, it’s a lovely place, but it could use some improvements.

Rooms
6.0

I had a really nice stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, but the thin walls made it hard to get a good night's sleep. The location offers stunning views but can be a bit tricky to reach, especially if you're not comfortable driving in narrow, steep streets. The service was friendly but seemed a bit lackluster at times. Overall, it's a decent place for the price, but some improvements would make it much better.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were very nice and clean, with linens and towels in great condition. However, the thin walls meant I could hear my neighbors and corridor noise, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably.
Service

While the staff was helpful, they sometimes seemed more focused on billing than on providing great service. Overall, it felt like there was room for improvement here.
Location
8.0
The location is truly beautiful with stunning views, though it might not be the best for those who are nervous about driving in Mexico's steep and narrow streets.
Dining

My stay at the hotel was enjoyable overall, with lovely views from the balcony and a comfortable bed. However, the thin walls made it hard to enjoy solitude, and the lack of a fridge in the room was a bit inconvenient. The service was generally friendly, but I did encounter some issues with the payment process. The beautiful location might be challenging for those uncomfortable with narrow, steep streets.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were quite comfortable, with a fantastic view of the city from the balcony. However, the thin walls made it easy to hear noise from the neighboring rooms and the corridors. I also missed having a fridge in the room.
Service
7.0
The staff was very lovely and put in a lot of effort to keep us in the same rooms during our stay. They also surprised us with marshmallows for roasting, which added a nice touch to our experience. However, they could have been more helpful with payment options when issues arose.
Location
8.0
The location is truly beautiful, with stunning views, but reaching it can be a challenge due to narrow and steep streets. It's not the best option if you're not comfortable with driving in those conditions. The facilities were exceptionally clean, which I appreciated.
Dining

Unfortunately, the dining options didn’t meet my expectations as the a la carte menu had limited choices. There were supposed to be some performances during the evening, but they weren’t available during my stay.
Facilities

While the facilities were clean and well-maintained, I was hoping for more amenities overall. There wasn’t much beyond basic offerings, and that was a bit of a letdown for this kind of place.
